"China's Miracle: The Three Gorges High-Speed Rail" explores the engineering marvel of the Zhengzhou-Chongqing high-speed railway, a key link in China’s expansive "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail network. As the editor of this award-winning series, I helped shape a narrative that highlights how China overcame challenging terrain, including the iconic Yangtze River Three Gorges, to achieve record-breaking speeds of 350 kilometers per hour. This piece earned the 1st Prize in the 26th Chongqing Journalism Awards (Series Report) and the 3rd Prize in the 33rd China Journalism Awards for International Communication, underscoring its impact in showcasing China’s infrastructure achievements to a global audience.

"A Sustainable Path to Prosperity: Ecological Revolution" explores China's commitment to balancing environmental restoration with economic growth, focusing on the transformative efforts in Chongqing as part of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. Once labeled one of the "most polluted cities on the planet," Chongqing has embraced an ecological revolution, exemplified by the restoration of Guangyang Island. As the editor, I helped shape this award-winning integrated report, which highlights how decisive actions transformed a once-threatened natural habitat into a thriving ecological sanctuary. This work earned the 2nd Prize in the 26th Chongqing Journalism Awards (Integrated Reporting), underscoring its impact in showcasing sustainable development practices in China.

Amazing Infrastructure | Lanying Cliff Road

"Amazing Infrastructure: Lanying Cliff Road" tells the inspiring story of resilience and determination as 23 households in a remote Chongqing village spent over a decade carving a road out of a cliff to connect with the outside world. Situated in the Lanying Grand Canyon of Wuxi County, this steep, 40-degree path became a lifeline for the villagers, drastically improving access to markets and resources. As the editor, I crafted this award-winning feature to highlight the ingenuity and perseverance of these villagers. The article earned the 3rd Prize in the 26th Chongqing Journalism Awards (Feature Report), showcasing the human spirit behind one of China's most incredible grassroots infrastructure projects.

"Documentary: COVID-19 – The Human Cost" is an intimate exploration of the global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, told through the personal stories of YouTubers from six continents. This collaborative documentary provides a rare glimpse into how individuals from diverse backgrounds adapted to unprecedented challenges, showcasing resilience and human connection during a global crisis. As the editor, I helped shape this compelling narrative, which also features insights from creators like Alex of Reporterfy Media, reflecting on his experiences in Chongqing during the pandemic. This documentary earned the 3rd Prize in the 26th Chongqing Journalism Awards (News Documentary), highlighting its unique approach to storytelling during one of the most significant events in modern history.

"iChongqing Exclusive Interview with Oscar Nominee Domee Shi: I Hope to Keep Making You All Proud and Hungry in the Future" offers a fascinating glimpse into the life and career of Domee Shi, the director of Bao, the 2019 Academy Award-nominated Best Animated Short Film. In this exclusive interview, Domee shared her experiences creating Bao, her deep affection for her parents and her hometown of Chongqing, and her journey as a Chinese-Canadian immigrant. As a trailblazer—being the first female director of a Pixar short and a future feature film director—she discussed her upcoming projects and her passion for storytelling. This article, which earned the 2nd Prize in the 23rd Chongqing Journalism Awards (Online News Reporting), highlights the unique cultural insights Shi brings to her work, as well as her heartfelt message to her roots: "I hope to keep making you all proud and hungry in the future!"
